Sarah worked in a large, fast paced, progressive national retailer in a number of HR and development roles – partnering with operational leaders to create and deliver robust, solid people strategies which consistently delivered excellent results.
Sarah started her career as a Training Officer after graduating as a teacher with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and moved through a number of roles – Head Office HR Manager, Area HR Manager/ Business Partner, Regional Training Manager and Regional HR Manager.
During this time, Sarah was nominated for and won a number of external and internal awards. She was a finalist for the Retail Week Rising Star Award twice – both as a HR Training Professional and a HR Professional. Sarah was recognised for her “engaging personality, coupled with her enthusiasm and excellent technical and operational skills, inspire all who work with her.”
Sarah led her own team of HR business partners across the country in delivering the overall organisational goals through people.
This provided Sarah with the experience and knowledge to build a team of HR Consultants and a first-class service to support SME’s across the country through the HR Consultancy she moved to after having her children.
Sarah now works as a HR Consultant independently and in collaboration with Lisa. Her goal is to use all of her learnings, knowledge, experience and expertise to support businesses to build and engage high performing teams though a culture where all are encouraged to thrive and be the best that they can be.
